- Perform the Ar-Raml during the first three circles and gradually speed up with smaller steps.
Make appeal right from your heart and it will benefit you. Recite whatever you wish for, directing your petitions to Allah by asking for blessings. During this time, there are no specific statements or supplications that needs to be recited at the time of the Tawaaf. Upon completing the seven circuits of Tawaaf, advance the station of Ibrahim and recite a verse.
Pray very small Rak'ahs and return to the Black Stone and touch it. Safaa is the next stage and recite the verse at the base of Safaa: “Verily, As-Safaa and Al-Marwah are from the symbols of Allah. So it is not a sin on him who performs Hajj or 'Umrah of the house (ka 'bah) to perform the going (tawaaf) between them. And whoever does good voluntarily, then verily, Allah is the All-Recognizer, All-Knower.” [Quran; 2:158]
Climb up the Safaa till the time you are spot the Kaaba and facing the Kaaba make supplications thrice: “Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. Laa ilaaha il-lall-llaahu wadahu la shareeka lahu, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu, wa huwa 'alaa qulli shay'in qadeer. Laa ilaaha il-lall-llaahu wahdahu, anjaza wa'dahu, wa nasara 'abdahu, wa hazamal ahzaaba wahdahu" (Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, Who has no partner. To Him belongs the dominion, to Him belongs all praise, and He has power over everything. He fulfilled His promise, gave victory to His servant, and defeated the confederates alone.)
Descend the Safaa and proceed towards Marwah, running in between the green lights. When you reach Marwah, climb and repeat the same procedure without reciting anything. This finishes one round. While running between the mountains, you need not recite anything. In the end, men need to get a haircut or undergo complete shaving and women need to trim their hair by a finger tip from the end.
